2022 September

  • Ninety percent of NWO and ZonMw’s research publications are open access.

    This stems from the comprehensive bibliometric analysis on open access CWTS conducted for NWO.
  • CWTS has the Crossref Even Data operational in its citation index system.

    More and more scolarly discussions extend to online platforms and social media. Crossref Event Data captures this activity and acts as a hub for the storage and distribution of this data. These data enable us to provide altmetrics, e.g., mentions in blogs, on Twitter, Reddit etc.

2022 February

  • CWTS, Leonie van Drooge, will contribute to the internal Nivel workshop ‘Relevance to society’.

    She will collaborate with the team to articulate how Nivel research answers complex societal questions and challenges from healthcare practice and policy.

2021 May

  • CWTS delivers report to the NIHR

    CWTS delivers to the NIHR a comprehensive bibliometric report on Biomedical & Health research in England. This highprofile report supports the process to designate and fund NIHR Biomedical Research Centres (BRCs) in England.

2020 December

  • Agreement with Dimensions and Scopus data providers has been signed! 

    CWTS is proud to announce that, from now on, we have the possibility to access and make use of Dimensions and Scopus data for our contract research projects. 

  • Online course Bibliometrics and Scientometrics for Research Evaluation 

    We are happy to announce that the fourth edition of the bibliometric course Chicago, US will take place as an online course between the 15th and 18th of November, 2021. Read more here. 

  • New colleague: Drs. Leonie van Drooge 

    Leonie has extensive knowledge of evaluation practices. She is a long-term member of the Workgroup responsible for monitoring and development of the Dutch Strategy Evaluation Protocol, SEP. 

    We are very happy to welcome her at CWTS and we are looking forward to teaming up with her on BV projects!
